First class effort from talented young apprentice
Local apprentice Nathan Lucas had cause to celebrate after receiving a 1st in business studies from Glamorgan University.
At 22 years old, Nathan has been busy; balancing his studies alongside working as a Business Administration Assistant at Miller Argent. We caught up with Nathan on his graduation day and talked to him about his course and his time at Miller Argent.
Nathan explained: “I tried to choose a course that would allow me to work and study at the same time. I chose business studies because it’s a broad subject that taught me a range of new skills.”
“I loved the challenge; I never expected to go to University. In fact, I’m the first from my family to get a degree. It means that now I am starting to be given more responsibility and manage projects. My colleagues have been brilliant. They have been my mentors and given me lots of advice.”
“Miller Argent has been really good in helping me fit my studies around my job and I would like to thank them for the opportunity and for helping set me up in my career.”
