Community Buses deliver participants to the Spartan Trifecta

9 members of Bryn Meadows Fusion Gym took part in Spartan Trifecta 2014 Challenges, a series of obstacle races over insane terrain combined with obstacles testing their physical strength and mental resolve.  The Challenge was to complete the 3 Spartan Distances within the 2014 Spartan Season to earn the coveted Trifecta Medal, whilst raising money to aid the Rehabilitation of Geraint Richards a 12 year boy who suffered an acute asthma attack at the end of 2013 that left him severely mentally disabled.

The first race saw the team travel to Pippingford Park in London on the 31st August where they completed the Spartan Super at a distance of 13k.  The following week on the 8th September they travelled to Milton Country Park in Cambridge where the completed the Spartan Sprint a distance of 5k and finally on the 11th October to team returned to Pippingford Park to complete the Spartan Beast 21k.

Thanks to the support of Miller Argent and their Community Bus the team were able to travel to the events and raise money for the Geraint Richards appeal, a cause that the team are continuing to support and raise money for through a variety of events over the coming months.
