Working in the Community

Miller Argent invites the local community to make use of its Transport and Educational resources.

For those in the community who want to learn more about our site operation we can arrange group site visits.

The Miller Argent Community Mini Bus Scheme

The Miller Argent minibuses (17 seater and 14 seater with wheelchair access) have travelled far and wide – they provide a valuable free facility to over 150 regular local groups and charities. If you would like to find out more about using our free minibuses then please get in contact on 0870 111 5600 or by e-mail to: [email protected]

The Office Manager will be able to advise on the availability of the minibuses for a specific date and any particular requirements that you may have before confirming a booking.

All bookings are subject to availability, eligibility and confirmation.

Education Centre

The primary focus of the Education & Training Centre is to provide a training facility for the operational staff.  However, it is also available to those school and community groups who wish to learn more about the history, ecology, archaeology and operations of the site.

It is also available for local community groups to use during the day or evening for meetings, presentations and/or discussions.

The new centre is able to accommodate a maximum of 35 people and comes fully fitted out with air-conditioning, desks, chairs, audio visual presentation equipment, a fully fitted kitchen and self-contained toilet provision.  Car parking on site is available but it is strictly limited.  A single 53 seater coach can be accommodated adjacent to the Education & Training Centre.
